Pamoja Youth Initiative (PYI) recognizes the importance of sustainable livelihoods for young people and is committed to supporting
them in enhancing their economic well-being by developing their skills and providing them with the necessary resources.
The livelihood component focuses on entrepreneurship and employability as briefly described below;
In the field of entrepreneurship, PYI provides comprehensive support to young entrepreneurs, ranging from ideation to acceleration, through
the provision of entrepreneurship training, business development services, and financial and market linkages.
With regards to employability, PYI offers a range of workforce readiness skills training for young people, including 21st-century skills,
job search skills, resume and cover letter writing, and interview handling. In addition, PYI also provides internship and apprenticeship
opportunities to equip young people with practical experience and enable them to enter the job market with greater confidence.
By focusing on entrepreneurship and employability, PYI aims to empower young people to achieve sustainable livelihoods and contribute to
the growth and development of their communities.
Pamoja Youth Initiative (PYI) fosters democracy and promotes good governance among young people. We equip them with skills and knowledge to make a
positive impact and shape a better future.
Through comprehensive training programs, we build youth leadership capacity and connect them with decision-making bodies.
We empower youth to be active citizens, engaging in community development initiatives and advocating for their voices to be heard in shaping policies.
PYI also focuses on peacebuilding and conflict resolution, equipping youth with skills to promote harmony and resolve conflicts.

individuals in developing resilience and adaptation strategies.
Through a multi-faceted approach encompassing empowerment, advocacy, collaboration, and education, PYI empowers young leaders to spearhead
climate actions, influences policies to address climate change challenges, cultivates alliances to drive collective action, and promotes climate
literacy to foster sustainable practices.
PYI remains steadfast in its commitment to nurturing a generation of empowered young leaders capable of effectively addressing climate change and paving the way

Pamoja Youth Initiative (PYI) is committed to enhancing young people's access to sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR) services and information.
PYI empowers youth to make well-informed choices about their sexual and reproductive health, promoting their well-being and autonomy. They actively work
to eliminate obstacles by offering youth-friendly SRHR services and establishing secure environments for confidential care.
Moreover, PYI prioritizes education through workshops and awareness campaigns, dispelling myths and reducing the stigma surrounding SRHR.
They also engage in advocacy efforts to protect young people's SRHR, ensuring their voices are heard and inclusive environments are fostered.
